When the 43rd became light infantry, many of their regimental distinctions changed

It is Brass and a Bugle Horn but the exact design still needs some research.

Cartridge Box Plate

(Not strictly Napoleonic, more War of Independanc,e but the York Rangers have a GR plate and the holes need to be covered for health and safety).

 

 
 

Headress

All soldiers in the British army be it Napoleonic or modern day are issued with headress

Please not that the badge on the side of the Forage Cap/Fatigue Hat is not regulation.

Weapons

The majority of the soldiers were armed with the Brown Bess Musket.

During the Peninsula War, these began to be replaced by the Baker Rifle until by about 1812, one in five were armed with these.
